LOS ANGELES - The Kids Choice Awards Steering Committee met in emergency session and voted 12 to 1 to ask Ricky "In A Gay Way" Martin to please have the common courtesy and decent decency to return the Kids Choice Award for Best Male Role Model that he just won on Saturday night's Kids Choice Award Show.
Ricky called them back and said that he would have his assistant "Big Ben" package it up and he would be FedExing it in the morning.
The KCA Steering Committee explained that it is not that they have anything against gays or Puerto Rican singers but it's just that since they are involved with impressionable kids the steering committee feels that kids should not really be exposed to the gay life style until they are at least 21 or 22.
Martin told them that he understood and said that at first he truly felt that his attraction towards members of the same sex was nothing more than strong allergies.
In a related story. Ricky says that he plans to write a book about his gay life. The working title is "Would You Pass Me The Gay Menudo Please?"
