"He Forget Diane. How Could He Forget Diane. I Can't"

Robert Halderman pleaded guilty in court Monday to attempting to blackmail David Letterman over his affairs with the women on his staff (pun intended). The Emmy-winning CBS producer pleaded guilty so there will be no hearing.

In turn, David Letterman says that the sentence was fair and that "we all make mistakes, I've made a few myself."

Letterman says that he is grateful that the case never was tried because of it's affect upon his family and any others involved.

Apparently, Halderman had used his girlfriend to get material on Letterman when she, Stephanie Birkitt, was having an affair with Letterman.

Mr Halderman stated that he actually gave Letterman a script that was a "thinly veiled threat to ruin Letterman unless he paid some hush money."

Before leaving the reporters, Halderman apologized to Letterman, his wife and family and Letterman's girlfriends, Stephanie, Charlotte, Nancy, Suzanne, Helen, Naomi, Jessica, Ashley, Bridgett, Alicia, Margaretta, Samantha and also anyone of which he was unaware.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
