Ashley Cole has today revealed that he is not the only one in the Cole household to have failed to play by the rules.

The grim faced Chelsea star has disclosed information relating to a game of Monopoly the couple enjoyed which resulted in Ashley confronting the X Factor judge after he alleged that she had put one of his hotels back in the box whilst he was in the toilet.

The Cole's had been enjoying the world renowned board game when Ashley gained the upper hand by purchasing a hotel on the prestigious Park Lane square, shortly after, Cheryl's Iron landed on the square resulting in her having to pay Ashley a considerable sum of Monopoly Money.

A source close to the Newcastle born singer revealed "Cheryl was furious when she landed on the square, she had purchased 3 of the 4 train stations and was pleased with her progress in the game, and even passing Go didn't hide her displeasure at landing on the prime square".

After taking money from his Geordie, soon to be ex, wife, Ashley left to answer the call of nature, upon returning he noticed the hotel he had erected on Pall Mall appeared to be missing, Cheryl denied any wrongdoings however it is understood that Ashley, being an expert in mobile phone photography had cunningly taken a picture of the board prior to leaving for the loo.

At this stage it is understood that Ashley is currently reviewing the footage before deciding whether to take further action.

Cheryl was unavailable for comment on any stories relating to Ashley and hotels.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
