According to his Twilight Series: Eclipse co-star, Bryce Dallas Houston Howard, Robert Pattison, the British James Dean(?), chipped a tooth while flossing.

Bryce revealed the information after New York, New York Magazine asked her about the big screen vampire's personal hygiene and if he changed shorts daily as she promoted her new film, "The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond & My Teeth."

"Actually, he's incredibly super duper hygienic," she reportedly told the Magazine. "He told me this story that made me crack up. He was like, 'Oh, I have to go to the dentist.' And I was like, 'Oh no, what happened? Just a check-up?' And he was like, 'No, I need my fangs sharpened. I actually chipped a tooth on a hair.' And I was like, 'How?' And he was like, 'Flossing.' Who does that? I don't even floss. So he's hygienic. Trust me."

"Then they told me to go sleep it off."

She next unloaded the fact that she thinks he even washes his hands before he leaves the bathroom, "like those signs say!"

"Of course, most of my teeth have fallen out from my gums getting bad from not flossing, but I am not hygiene crazy."

She then stated that she wondered what he meant 'on a hair'.

"None of his hair ever moves, even during the outdoor scenes."

And Bryce, who recently took over Rachelle Lafevre's role as the evil vampire Victoria in "Twilight Eclipse," revealed that Robert's character in the film franchise - Edward Cullen - made her worry about meeting him, although as Robert Pattinson, he wasn't hard to talk to at all.

"I mean, like he was so MUCH and me with so few teeth to use to show off."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
