The television hit series has spawned its first spin-off. Butt-Faced Rosie will make it's debut in the coveted, high ratings spot right after this year's Super Bowl. The program'c characters will appear on two of the January episodes of Ugly Betty, but will be on their own in February.
Producers denied that the show's title is in any way a reference to Rosie O'Donnell or Roseanne Barr. Creator David Hawthorne said that "while Ms. O'Donnell and Ms. Barr may be the most famous Rosies out there, and not the most attractive people on the eyes, our show has nothing to do with them."
This show follows the misadventures of a woman who is placed in a mental institution as a teenager and then works as a stand up comedian, before going into movies and finding success on talk shows, grabbing her crotch while singing the National Anthem at a sporting event, and becoming a Lesbian.
