It's the newest thing here in the "What Happens Here Stays Here" City in Nevada, although it might move around a bit. Here, nerds live like Hollywood superstars for a short time anyway.
For a fee of $600 per hour a client can climb into the "Longer Ones" Limousine Company with leather upholstery, Bose radio and a drink if you're over 21, plus your own chauffeur and a lady friend way in the back.
"Also, we keep the lights dim."
"For romance?"
"So they cannot see the wigs and rigs of their 50 to 60-year-old dates!"
"In today's hard times you have to try something different", says five limousines owner, Big Mo Retardo. "And so far this isn't doing half bad. I got the idea for it after reading an article about something like this in Germany."
"If gas gets much higher I may need to have a surcharge or else, find some parking spots. But most people want to ride around a bit. Get it! Ride around a bit. haw haw haw! Ah, Retardo, ain't you the one?"
When asked about any special problems, Retardo told this reporter that so far there's just been one major fault.
"Some of those silly college freshmen cost me money as sometimes the driver doesn't even get the limousine out of park!"
