The Pope was reported to be 'seriously pissed off' tonight after the BBC's 'Changing Rooms' team descended on the Vatican Museums and used graffiti cleaning chemicals to 'clean up' the Raphael Rooms and the Sistene Chapel.
"This is a disgrace!" one Cardinal told us. 'These cultural vandals from the BBC came in and changed the face of the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel for ever! Where once we had beautiful frescoes, we now have a stain or three."
Tommy Walsh and Alan Titchmarsh also condemned the move.
"It might have worked if they'd used rag-rolling techniques and a bit of spray paint like Banksy. But quite frankly, they've made a right bollocks of this."
TV garden guru, Alan Titchmarsh could only weep, gently, like a willow tree, as he told us:
"This is just sacrilege. Bollocksing up somebody's garden is one thing, but buggering up works of art is something else entirely."
Exactly.
More when Bob Ross's students paint a cabin on the Giaconda.
With some 'happy little clouds.'
