During all the brew-ha-ha over the death of homosexual boyband member, Stephen Gately, on Saturday, many will not have realised that famously heterosexual sessions gorilla, Voxhumana, passed away quietly in his sleep at the weekend.
'Voxy' as he was known to friends in the music industry, was considered by many to be the world's leading primate saxophone player.
During his long and illustrious career, Voxy had played on stage and in the studio with such luminaries as 'The Rodney Steward Band', 'Thundercrap Newman', 'Quicksilver Massaging Cervix' and 'Kiki Dee'.
'Voxy was a man amongst gorillas', said deceased rocker, Keith Moonlanding. 'He was so fluid. I always put it down to those ridiculously long fingers, God bless him.'
Other showbusiness glitterati queing up to pay homage were, Motorhead's Lemmy, the late Jim Morrison and Rex Harrison, amongst others.
'I was love him, can't many, wasn't he?' mumbled Lemmy, before collapsing in a pool of his own vomit.
How rock and roll is that?
