Elton John and his husband David Furnish are to become parents for the first time. They are to adopt Angela Jolie and Brad Pitt's brood.
Brad called Elton when he heard that the 62-year-old English singer wants to adopt a 14-month-old Ukrainian boy named Lev whose parents have died of AIDS.
"Please," begged Brad, "help yourself to ours because they are driving me crazy."
The actor even included the triplets Angelina is expecting in his offer.
She was heard to sob in the background that the triplets will need breastfeeding.
"That will be no problem. I'll breastfeed them," Elton instantly replied and the deal was concluded.
Madonna is now trying to reach Elton by phone.
