Steven Tyler is recovering from his fall during a concert last week in which he received some pretty severe injuries.
He told reporters yesterday that he had twenty stitches on the back of his head and had broken his left shoulder, saying he had landed upside down.
"It's a wonder I didn't break my stupid neck!"
Tyler stated that there were some things going on with the stage equipment but that he didn't want to stop the show just because he couldn't see as well with some of the lights out.
He told reporters that he knew there were ten thousand of my fans out there ready to rock and "we were doing one of our best shows in a long time and loving every minute of it."
But, apparently the sound equipment then began acting up and shorting out so Tyler just stopped and hurled himself into the mosh pit to be carried by the fans.
There was no mosh pit.
That was at the last show.
"I'll be back", stated the Aerosmith front man. "Those guys at the hospital fixed me back up and were great. I gotta do something for them sometimes."
"But, I tell you, from now on I gotta remember exactly where we're performing that particular night."
