A Nashville, Tennessee man, whose mother had recently passed away, was looking through all the junk she had in the attic and what should he come across but a rare record LP of "Jimi Hendrix on the Banjo".
"You should have seen me falling down those attic stairs with that thing in my hand, I was so excited", stated Elmer Puddle of Franklin. "Imagine finding something like this! Why, wherever in the world could Ma have gotten it, has got me stumped-that and the fall down the attic stairs."
Among the list of records that Elmer said played without a pop was "Have You Ever Been Experienced" with a big Deliverance final "making that sucker squeal like a pig!"
Other classics Elmer said were on the album are, "The Wind Cries Banjo" and "Like A Foxy Lady On The Run".
Elmer would not show us the record and would not play it because he was afraid it would get scratched.
"I'm taking this here thing right to that "Antiques Road Show" just as soon as I know where abouts on the road they is showing."
"I believe that Bob Dielan's 'While Handing Out The Watchtower" is my very favorite. Didn't he convert into something like that?"
