The BBC are celebrating today, following the announcement that former F1 driver, Michael Schumacher, will be returning to host the hit TV Gameshow - "The Generation Game".
The show is expected to pull in record audiences when the first episode airs later in the year.
Schumacher's performances during the 2 seasons of the TV Show became legendary, with some of his catchphrases being repeated throughout the nation. "Guten Nice to See you, Das See-en you, (audience shouts) Das ist Nice" became an extremely popular turn of phrase.
Furthermore his on/off romance with co-host Rosemarie Ford drew audiences, in part enjoying the slogan of "Was ist das scoren on your board Fraud Ford?".
Of course, his leaving the show was inevitable following the alleged drinking problems which Schumacher was suffering with in the second series. The final episode seeing an aggressive outburst by the German host, followed by him stripping to his underwear and singing the German national anthem.
