Although the Oprah Costa Nostra has denied it, the recent "accident" that led to Angelina Jolie's head injury has left fans and people in general wondering if there's any truth in the accident's rumor.
Oprah is the #1 most influential person in the media, right? I mean she used her pull to encourage many many of her followers to influence the election in favor of Barack Obama. He even discussed the possibility on her show long before officially announcing his run for the presidency, although Oprah and First Lady Michelle seem to have had a recent falling out.
So, as I said, Oprah is THE most influential media person, right?
Wrong! It's Angelina Jolie!
That's according to Forbes Magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Stars. Oprah came in at #2.
Don't think that has been overlooked by those who take care of Oprah.
No, I do not say that sweet, lovable Oprah had anything to do with it. But there are many people who want her to stay on top and who's this Jolie person knocking her off her accustomed #1 perch?
For one thing, Jolie and Brad Pitt have been in the news it seems for at least a year in the on again/off again relationship and all the kids. Then there were two movies over the past year and a third, "Salt" soon on the way.
At last report, Angelina seemed to be doing fine. Although she'd probably not admit it if she were having headaches over the collision with the stage prop, since she' been living with a permanent headache for several years now. So maybe, to her, it's normal.
But if this was a little warning, consider it taken and here's hopes that she will be left alone. Oprah will be back on top by year's end. She always is.
