Before offering the opening prayer at Barack Obama's Inauguration, Rev Rick warren had worked tirelessly to deny gay couples the right to marry. As the Easter season has ushered in more states supporting gay marriage and Christian bigotry is being shunted to the scrap heap of American history and contributions. The good Reverend has had a revelation.
In an interview with FundieFundraising.$$$, "Rabbit" warren dramatically described his apparition:
"A big fluffy purple bunny appeared to me as I kept my traditional Holy Saturday Night Vigil. I asked the creature what message it brought. It said something about coloured eggs and hopped off spewing expletives as he scattered eggs. I returned to my vigil over the bank accounts and that is when I realized that God had sent the Resurrection Rabbit to me to help me raise my funds from the dead. That gay purple fluffy bastard taught me God's will. GO GAY! GIVE MONEY!"
