Greeting Cards maker Mallhark have decided to create a new day in honour and blessing of the miraculously wonderful Jade Goody. The cards, recycled from magazines such as Now!, Look! and Wowzers!, are likely to be on sale within the next few weeks.
Spokesperson Gary Wilmotter announced the news:
"It's a great day for us all. We'd quite like to make every day Jade Goody Day but for now we're going to pencil in the 22 March as a pretty good day for it. Hopefully people will get into the spirit and send each other Goody Day cards, presents, little pastel coloured teddies and the like. It could be a real money spinner... er, I mean, a really good way to celebrate life."
There has been no word on the announcement from Max Clifford, Goody's publicist, but it is expected that the new range of cards will include pictures of Goody's face along with rainbows, puppies and elves.
