When Rupert Murdoch, the Citizen Kane of world news, appeared at a press conference to apologize for his newspaper's tasteless chimp cartoon, onlookers could not help but notice a striking resemblance.Murdoch is a dead ringer for the deceased chimpanzee in the satirical funny.
One NY Posterboy reporter leapt to his feet and screamed: "He's the chimp. He's the CHIMP!"
Murdoch continued to deny any connection to the racist cartoon that seemed to perpetuate the age old bigoted equation between monkeys and African Americans until someone twittered the cartoon image and projected it onto the magnate's face. The congruence was undeniable.
