Filming began yesterday on the new movie from Sleepworks - a remake of the children's TV Show "Trumpton". As opposed to the original show's technique of Stop-Go animation, the film is a live action version.

Highly anticipated, the movie stars a number of the "Ocean's" series actors and as such has been nicknamed "Ocean's Fourteen".

The film which is due for release in late 2010, features all of the key characters from the original show. George Clooney is playing the role of "Hugh", Matt Damon is "Pugh" with Brad Pitt playing the role of "Barney McGrew". Furthermore, Daniel Day Lewis has signed to play the key role of "Chippy Minton the carpenter".

As with the previous Ocean's films, a high profile actress has been cast in a key role, this time being Meryl Streep who is playing the role "Mrs. Cobbit the florist".

Most controversially Don Cheadle is featured as "Cuthbert", which as it is the first portrayal of this character by an African American, it has raised some eyebrows within the shows fanbase.

Commenting on the movie, George Clooney stated "The 3 Oceans movies are the greatest trilogy since Star Wars. Fact. I believe that 99% of the success was due to the cast, so I am 100% that this will be successful".

The initial idea for the movie actually came from Pitt however who commented that "Angie and I were watching reruns of the shows, I pitched it the Chairman (Clooney's self given nickname) and he thought it was a winner.

The story is believed to feature the characters playing a "con" on a Casino owner based in the neighbouring town of "Camberwick Green". The Casino owner is being played by John Malkovich.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
