Resurrected actor and tabloid fodder Mickey Rourke has announced yet another turning point in his tumultuous career: Song and dance man!
"I was totally blown away by Hugh Jackman at the Oscars," beamed Rourke at an Academy Awards after-party, "this guy can go from being a feral superhero to a debonair man-about-town! I saw him up there on stage and thought, 'Why not?'"
First up is a Broadway musical adaptation of "Angel Heart" which promises plenty of New Orleans-flavored music and exotic dance numbers.
Also in development is "9 1/2 Weeks" which is currently experiencing logistical challenges involving ice cubes.
