The Daily Masher was the first to report Katy Perry's wardrobe mishap at an Italian Musical Festival this week.
According to the newspaper, Ms Perry was singing a new song about "looking for a real man, a real hard-loving man to mate with" when her outer garments suddenly fell to the stage revealing the 24-year-old singer in her underwear, a sexy basque.
Despite this distraction, Katy carried on with her song, casually kicking aside the outer garments so thoroughly that most landed in the first row of fans causing them to be ripped to shreds.
"She's a real trooper", stated her manager, Arnold Refrews afterward.
"You noticed that it not only didn't distract her, but she really got into that number with a little impromptu stage dancing. Plus that was her favorite outfit."
Despite recent pictures of Katy cuddled up with rocker Benji Madden lately, she told the Daily Masher that "I'm still looking for the right man, just like in the song. Now your ten minutes are up. I got to go put on some clothes."
