Robbie Williams, the "singer", has bought a £7million eight-bedroom house in Wiltshire, an insider tells us. The chateau-style house boasts swimming pool, tennis court, garaging for 6 cars, a snortarium, a recording studio, helicopter pad and hangar, staff quarters and is isolated from paparazzo, in 71 acres of land.

Williams, who failed in his attempt to set America alight, will still keep a house in LA "just in case" said spokesman Justin Case. The house used to belong to Elvis Costello, who made records in the 1980's. Williams believes in UFOs and aliens.

It is believed Williams, who famously got an £80million contract with EMI, intends to record some more songs at the house for eventual possible release. During his semi-retirement, Williams has built up a collection of nose candies of the world, and one day hopes to show them to the public.
