There was as much astonishment and surprise as there was traditional admiration at this year's Golden Globe awards handed out in Hollywood recently. T
he usual toasting and glad handing for winners (and unlucky nominees) was witnessed and everybody had a swell time. However, the night was not without some shocks such as Albanian actor Tyroul Tryhard winning Best Dressed Performance by a Singer in Supporting Role in the Serbian movie "heapov shitlovic".
Chinese actress Lucy Dong won a trophy in the category Best Foreign Accent in a Role Nobody Really Understands. But the biggest surprise of the evening (and you could hear the stunned cries from Santa Monica Bourlevarde) was the awarding of Best Performance by a Leading Actor While Being Upstaged Majorly by a Supporting Actor which went to Karol Wysokytwic for his brilliant miming in the Polish film "Whych Vay to Warsaw".
Nobody was surprised when Karol got up and thanked his golfing coach for getting him a better handicap (obscure, yeah).
