LONDON, England - Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse have decided that they will put out a CD with songs that are a combination of songs by the Beatles and Winehouse.
Paul told a reporter for the BBC that he first came across the idea when he was reading an article in the Rolling Stone music magazine that mentioned an album compilation of songs from the music libraries of Petula Clark and ZZ Top.
Sir Paul said that he called up Amy and listened to her talk for 15 minutes about her 58 tattoos and 31 piercings. He then interruped her and told her about his idea. He said that she loved the idea so much that she actually peed while on the phone. Paul said that luckily, she was sitting on the toilet at the time.
McCartney said that Winehouse gave him her word (in writing) that she would remain sober and that she would completely put all of her time, energy, focus, and effort into the project.
Sir Paul McCartney and (Mess) Amy Winehouse spent two weeks in London's Apricot Recording Studio. It was quite a musical event. And security was extremely tight. The only people in the studio were Paul, Amy, five studio musicians, a music producer, a music editor, and a tattoo artist.
Here are the songs that will appear on the McCartney/Winehouse Album entitled, Sir Paul & Madame Mess:
Although Sir Paul revealed that he and Ms. Winehouse had a great professional collaboration, he does want to stress that he did not go to bed with her.
Sir Paul told a reporter for BBC,"Come on mate, have you ever taken a really, really good look at her?...for Christmas I'm getting her a flea collar, a chew toy, and some doggy biscuits."
In other news, the government of Peru has just denied McDonald's request to open up a restaurant in the ancient ruins of the lost city of the Inca's, Machu Picchu.
