Drastic budget cuts have been announced by the BBC in the run up to the Christmas season. This follows a steady year of Noel Edmund's not paying for his TV Licence, and Anne Robinson taking home more of the money.
Mr Anthony Lackey told us: 'It is a tough time for us at the moment. We are having to make cuts all over the corporation. News Readers are staying, and we have given Jonathan Ross and Ant 'n' Dec more money for sticking around.
'Terry Wogan, who has just turned 70 will be gently told it is past his bedtime, and will be going to radio.
'We don't even have enough for the Tinsel on the Blue Peter Advent crown. We are using footage from last year to cover that up'.
