Blues Man Muddy Red Sox has died at the age of 84, with a bad case of 'Mywomangonedonemewrong'.
The musician, the most famous blues Spoons player in the world, famed for his hit 'A fork in the road, and a Knife in my back' was a grandfather of 4. He had no children.
His work with Louisianna Mudcake Junior was an understated melange of classical spoon music, and hard driving triangle work that showed the world what could be done with cutlery and a few lengths of piping.
Mudcake Junior said: 'I will miss me friend. No-one could play a spoon like him. His Harmonica work on 12 Days in the Sun was also a revelation, but that is now a very rare album. His condition is said to effect many of us working in this field, but he was happy and active until the end. The Blues world has lost another great talent. At least now he won't come around here anymore, stealing my Spoons. He was too tight to buy his own, you know'
