Journalists from a national newspaper have today issued a public apology to Big Brother celebrity Jade Goody.
The reality TV star, who was recently diagnosed with life-threatening cervical cancer, has been on the receiving end of constant abuse from the press, since making a controversial return to our TV screens last year.
Goody's alleged racist remarks about fellow Celebrity BB contestant, Shilpa Shetty, have made Jade the target of a media hate campaign.
Today one of the newspapers responsible said "We are deeply sorry for the negative coverage given to Jade in recent months, our sympathies are with her and we wish Jade a speedy recovery. The star can now rest assured that we will do our bit to make our readers aware of what a shining wit she really is."
