More and More speculation is mounting that all is not well within the confines of the latest musical to grace the illustrious theatres of Broadway - Dead Radios: A Buggles Musical.
While defenders of the show have pointed out that similar musicals have become box-office hits, such as ABBA's Mama Mia! and Queen's We Will Rock You, many investors are concerned by the fact that there is in fact only one song- the single Video Killed the Radio Star.
"Or goal was to create a musical brmming with quality music and we believe that we have done it without compromising its commercial appeal," Artistic Director Craig Thornton told us.
However, some investors are not so sure that this bold move will not come at some financial cost. Says one, "I was going to invest in an Enya musical but I found totally indecipherable and now I find out that this one will only have one song in it?! I don't call that a very cost-efficient use of our 77 piece orchestra."
Tickets for Dead Radios: A Buggles Musical are available now as well as the soundtrack which includes, indeed entails, the hit single, Video Killed the Radio Star.
