Rumours suggest that Gordon Ramsey could be the love child of Barbara Cartland and Danny La Rue.
If they are to be believed, Gordon was conceived in the backroom of the Windmill Pub London, following an accumulator bet that Danny wouldn't be able to deliver the goods and that Barbara had no feeling below her waist.
With Danny's dying career and Barbara's position in society the young Gordon was adopted, however Danny continued to visit and was instrumental in teaching the young Gordon to swear.
Barbara had nothing more to do with him but did leave him £21.87 in her will; the woman was worth millions, but had no perception as to the value of money, and died believing she was destitute and had even tried to gain entry in to a local workhouse.
