Ant and Dec are to sensationally quit their famous 'double act' after they became increasingly frustrated that in a recent poll, 88% of the general public still did not know who was Ant and who was Dec.
Anthony McPartlin (or was it Declan Donnelly?) said: 'We are always being tipped as the next Morecambe & Wise, an accolade that we are fiercely proud of but how many people got Eric and Ernie mixed up? The same with The Two Ronnie's, or Little and Large or other such famous double acts such as Richard and Judy or Bonnie & Clyde?'
Donnelly (or was it McPartlin?) said 'I'm tired of signing autographs and then fans saying oh, I thought you were the other one?'
The comedy duo have agreed to honour their ITV contract and will continue to present 'Britain's Got Talent' with them bowing out with one final series of their Saturday night Takeaway.
McPartlin (or was it Donnelly?) has side projects that he wishes to concentrate on and Donnelly (I think?) wants to move to Milton Keynes and write his autobiography.
