Houston, Texas (Buddy Jesus Quarterly) - Based on the meteoric popularity of several current websites featuring eavesdropped actual conversations, televangelist Joel Osteen is launching a similar website of his own: overheardinconfessional.com.
Pastor Osteen, a self-taught theologian who belongs to the "feel good" branch of non-denominational Christian megachurches, sees great potential in the website as a tool for outreach, fundraising, and thanking-Jesus-you-don't-have-it-as-bad-off-as-some-other-people.
"Y'know, if we can laugh at other people then we are not too far from being able to laugh at ourselves," explained Osteen -- voted Most Influential Christian in America in 2006. "It's all about laughter, love and a positive mental attitude!"
Simultaneously with the release of his website, Osteen intends to launch a U2 'Zooropa'-style arena world tour.
