Mumbai - (Bollywood Mess): India's leading female movie star Aishwarya Rai has told reporters she is being driven to distraction by her in-laws' astrologers after yet another pregnancy no-show this month was publicly attributed to the recent Aquarius solar eclipse.
"They keep sending me herbal happy pills," Aishwarya said today, "and a moon-cycle calendar marked with red days telling me when best to pleasure my husband for wholesome sperm."
The green-eyed superstar queen of Bollywood was at a loss to explain why some unfavorable stellar transit meant her husband Abhishek failed to turn up for the Valentine's Day premiere of her latest movie Jodhaa Akbar.
The Ashutosh Gowarikar-directed epic romance has received mixed reviews, much like the verdict on her first year of marriage into the dynastic Bachchan family.
"Rumors that it is purely a marriage of convenience brokered by myopic star-gazers unable to recognise a gay husband even when they see his starry conjunctions may be slightly wide off the mark," JollyBolly News reported today.
