Delhi, India - (Ass Mess): Bollywood actress and former Miss World is to feature on a new 100 rupee postage stamp in time for her birthday on November 1st this year.
The stamp's design is still a closely guarded secret but philately sources have hinted strongly that like her latest New York Madam Tussaud's waxwork statue the volely green-eyed movie star will be portrayed as four months pregnant.
Persistent rumors have speculated all summer just how pregnant the lady is.
Some of the reports have been vehemently rejected by her husban Abishek Bachchan who has protested that if his wife really was in the family way that he himself "would be the very first to know" - a notion met with some amusement among the actress's female following.
Other reports have questioned the purpose of putting Aishwarya on a postage stamp and warned that the move will only cause jealousy and mayhem in the Bollywood acting community:
"People will start saying "Lick Ashwarya Rai's backside for 100 rupees!" one commentator warned today.
"Is that cheapskate? Is it value for money? Will the lady sue for libel?"
There was no comment from Rai herself today.
