Colourful comedian, Lenny Henry from Dudley, England and his ex-wife, larger than life comedienne Dawn French have mutually decided to give their wrecked marriage one more try.
Lenny told 'Give Us A Break' magazine: "I had decided to buy my beloved ex-wife, a new car for her birthday. We shopped and we shopped and spent hours and hours in car showrooms. Finally, Dawn found one she liked but before signing the papers, Dawn looked at the car one more time. Suddenly, she bristled and walked away, saying she didn't want the car. She wouldn't even talk to me about it."
On the way home, a tearful Lenny asked her: "Well, Dawn, I thought you liked dat car. What changed yer mind about it?"
"Lenny, I just don't want any car with XL on it," Dawn shrieked.
"I could tell that she was getting upset." said Lenny.
"It's bad enough having that on my underwear!" she exclaimed.
