Following his raucous standup routine at Columbia University Iranian President Mahmoud "Shecky" Ahmadinejad sat down with WJM reporter Mary Richards for a brief interview. Still giddy from his American standup debut he joked "Shalom evil Zionist propaganda pusher".
In his well-rehearsed deadpan routine, reminiscent of American comedian Steven Wright, he claims Iranian women are the most free in the world, there are no Homosexuals in Iran and the Easter Bunny was invented by evil Jewish candy confectioners.
When asked what he does like about America he mentioned "…those happy self-esteem parades you have look like a lot of fun". When reporter Mary Richards pointed out that those are called "Gay Pride" parades he replied "whatever you Americans call it. It looks like fun. Rainbows make me happy and I look good in pink".
