The Spice Girls reunion concert in London on December 15th is in jeopardy after far fewer fans than expected applied for tickets for the show.
The gig, at the O2 Arena, has, according to promoters, been "an absolute flop", and anyone wanting a ticket should be able to obtain one at a reduced price.
Prices were initially £55-£75, but last night, a pair were offered on eBay for knockdown £20. They were still available this morning.
The Spice Girls, themselves, are thought to have been disappointed with the reaction of their 'fans', who have obviously grown up and moved on to something more mature, or even 'real music', rather than cheap wanking material.
Now with a combined age of 268, the group have changed their slogan to Granpower!, and have swapped the mini-skirts and tracksuits for long slacks, cardigans and sensible shoes. Mel B has lost most of her hair.
Some fans, though, are looking forward to the concert with relish.
Jemima Tosh, 6, of Swansea, said:
"I can't wait to see them. My mam loved them!"
