Atlanta, Georgia (IP) Temperatures in Atlanta hit the tree digit mark today but things got even hotter for the Cavemen made so popular thanks to their TV commercials that seem to appear on the screen every 10 minutes.

Our crime reporter was monitoring his police scanner when he heard that there was a code 19 in progress at 123 Peachtree Street. He rushed into the Underground district of Atlanta and ran right into the middle of the action. The police had just busted the Cavemen for selling phony lithic artifacts on a well known cyber auction.

The description that the Cavemen had provided for the auction claimed that the spear points were authentic Folsom spear points from the Paleo era when in reality they were modern made arrowheads that had been bought at tourist traps along Interstate 75.

The Cavemen had a look of indignant disdain for all of the gawkers that had gathered around the arrest scene and they loudly proclaimed their innocence. They declared, "you haven't seen the last of us". Apparently they were right because that night they appeared on TV at least 100 times during prime time in those famous insurance commercials and soon they will appear on their own TV series and the inevitable reruns.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
