WASHINGTON (D.C.) -- Swank Capitol eatery Citronella recently refused Madonna entry because she was wearing jeans. When told she was improperly dressed in jeans, said pop star snapped at the maitre d' "that her jeans were more expensive than his car."
Trouble was, she was wearing jeans, says Chipp Snobgrounds, who's partners with Citronella chef (and James BlackBeard award winner) Michael Richards in his new D.C. hotspot, Comedy Michael Richards.
And what brand jeans were they -- NOT GAP, H&M Mystery jeans -- but Paris Hilton Celebrity Catty Sarks. ($3759) Hardly a cheap Material Girl.
In fact, if you were to look up Paris Hilton's MySpace, you'd find that Madge is predominate as Paris's best buddy.
So, there's still trouble in Paris.
