Hollywood Calif. David Hasselhoff of Night Rider and Bay Watch fame was recently in the spotlight for allegedly being sloppy drunk in front of his teenage daughter. We contend it was all a publicity stunt to put the spotlight on Hasselhoff for the television show, America's Got Talent, and Hasselhoff's book, Don't Hassel the Hoff.
Hasselhoff is the first personality to sign on to Paris Hilton's new celebrity promotional company called, There's No Bad Publicity Inc. The company specializes in jump-starting the careers of actors and musicians that have fallen out of or are no longer in the public eye.
In another sensational promotional bid for Hasselhoff, the company released a bogus interview with the talking car from Night Rider, named Kit. In the interview Kit claims the production company had to install one of those monitoring devices that you blow into to detect sobriety before you can start your car. The interview claims Kit would not allow Hasselhoff behind the wheel without a sobriety test.
Absurd? Maybe. But it garners press.
