In a surprise move Late Show host, David Letterman has decided to retire and spend more time with his young son. CBS immediately announced Letterman would be replaced by George W Bush. Many Washington insiders are worried the additional work load will affect the President's performance as Commander in Chief.
"I'm not worried," responds W., "I got Cheney to back me up. Heck, he's always telling me what to do anyway! I think he can take care of things when I'm busy with the show." The President feels that being a comedian will be fairly easy since most people already laugh at much of what he says.
When asked if she approved, Laura said, "I don't care, as long as I don't have to watch."
The next edition of the Late Show will be entitled: An interview with Barney Bush.
