American Idol has signed up wafer-thin Brit Keira Knightley to star in a charity version of the show. Keira, who has been advised not to turn sideways on the stage, will be grinding out Thin Lizzy number "Ginger in the Jar", alongside Teri Hatcher, Forrest Whittaker and Gwen Stefani.
Also signed up are fellow Brits Hugh Grant singing "Don't let the pro go down on me" and Daniel Radcliffe with his sexy rendition of "Crazy Horses." Helena Bonham Carter will be singing her own specially adapted version of "When you're strange, everyone remembers your name."
Simon Cowell will be judging his fellow celebrities and as its all for charity will be joining them on stage. Simon denies that recent media criticism of his "eye-rolling " incident has prompted the Charity gig. Speaking exclusively to me today he said "I'm so rich I don't care, anyway, it was planned ages ago."
Simon will be singing an old tradional ballad which goes, "Everybody hates me, nobody cares, I may as well go and eat worms.."
