For the first time in the history of network broadcasting a television commercial has been banned before even being filmed. On-line ISP giant GoDaddy.com shocked Super Bowl viewers last year ago when their scantily clad GoDaddy model caused more than a few male TV viewers to excuse themselves from the set for a few minutes even though it caused them to miss a few plays.
With Prince on the left performing heaven only knows what and Budweiser on the right threatening to show consensual sex between a bottle of Bud Lite and an underage Budweiser Clydesdale many analysts agree that FOX does indeed have it's hands full this Super Sunday WITHOUT having to worry about GoDaddy putting on some freaky display of random debauchery and getting FOX slapped with a 50 million dollar FCC violation.
"Any time GoDaddy even thinks about making a commercial we research it 9 different ways from Sunday" FCC Chief Michael Powell told reporters. Inside sources say that GoDaddy's planned Super Bowl commercial makes their other commercials look like an episode of Little House on the Prarie. One GoDaddy official said,
"I know we're pushing the envelope with our commercials but there's nothing intrinsically x-rated about our latest one. For the most part. If we have to we'll revamp it .. scratch the dancing mules, remove a couple of the sheep maybe even put some clothes on the Swedish women's volley ball team who knows."
One random Super Bowl fan warned FOX that if GoDaddy's not running a commercial he's not watching the Super Bowl so apparently the battle lines have been drawn .. GoDaddy vs FOX vs the FCC vs the fans vs the Colts vs the Bears.
"If push comes to shove to get the thing aired" GoDaddy says, "we might even cancel the nude skydiving sex scene over the active volcano (now THERE's a money shot) who knows we're open for suggestions."
