The cat of the late novelist, Barbara Cartland, has appeared for sale today on ebay.
The moggy known as 'Tiddles' had been missing since the multi-million selling authoress passed on and was presumed to have legged it from her palatial home once there was no more Kitekat around the place.
Tiddles was believed to be Cartland's muse and some of her best work was inspired by the little fella, pictured here in his trademark pink boa. Indeed the seller is also offering three manuscripts said to be written by the cat.
It is widely expected that with his pedigree now exposed that there will be a furious bidding war to gain ownership of talented Tiddles. The highest bid currently stands at £3,000 and it will most likely double before the auction closes at midnight on January 8.
