Idiot Wayne Badger, who famously bankrupted himself by buying a rare £200,000 Rolex rather than a house has asked how Father Dougal from factual documentary Father Ted is now a highly regarded, and charming detective in the documentary Death in Paradise.
Badger told us: 'I can understand if he had been a wise, and charming priest, with an interest in crime, like that Sydney Chambers bloke from Grantchester, or a charmingly thieving antiques dealer like Lovejoy, but this takes the michael. It wasn't even as if he was the wise priest in Father Ted, you know the one who had all of that money resting in his account....I just don't get how the authorities didn't see Father Ted and put two and two together. Father Dougal really should not be allowed to spend all of that time in the sun, solving all of those rather obvious crimes with nothing more than an ill lizard for company'.
We tried to point out to Badger that neither Father Ted or Death in Paradise are real, and that the two characters are played by actors.
'Next you'll be telling me' said Badger, through mouthfuls of Shredded Wheat 'that he was not actually a superhero in My Hero. What type of fool do you take me for, you muppet?'
