Washington - Channeling Lieutenant Worf's casually backswept look at Sunday night's Governors Dinner in the White House nearly got Michelle Obama into a whole heap of trouble according to clandestine reports.
The First Lady apparently triggered something akin to a Klingon Pon Farr reaction in Idaho Governor Butch 'Split Beaver' Otter, a major self confessed Star Trek fan.
"Butch had the honor of sitting next to Mrs O during the appetisers part of the evening," White House wine waiter Herbie Denver commented, "and got a tad overexcited during the oyster course."
Witnesses at the sumptuous black tie dinner recall Governor Otter suddenly breaking out into Klingon dialect in what may have been a filthy joke about his Pon Farr reproductive cycle.
"Sure made Michelle shut up like a Cape Cod clam," Denver added.
"Wanna see up skirt pics of Jan Brewer channeling Voyager's Seven of Nine?"
