LOS ANGELES - The host of X-Factor, Mario Lopez is doing a bang up job and hardly anyone even remembers that Khloe Kardashian was his co-host last year.
According to iRumors Khloe was fired because she really didn't bring much to the table (except of course for her ravenous appetite).
Mario told Vokda Vermicelli that he prefers to work solo and actually revealed that he did not like working with Mrs. Lamar Odom because she thought that she was the star of the show simply because she was a Kardashian.
The two new judges Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child and Paulina Rubio from Mexico have seemed to fit right in although at times Ms. Rubio is a little bit hard to understand with her quasi-prevalent accent.
All of the viewers have noticed that Demi Lovato is not wearing as much makeup as she did last year although she has added some new funky looking tattoos.
And Simon Cowell is Simon Cowell, the undisputed Count of Criticism.
So far the early odds on favorite is 54-year-old grandmother of 7, Lillie McCloud of Orlando, Florida.
The lady can flat out sing and she is already starting to look the part of a Whitney Houston type diva.
One thing that everyone has noticed is that Simon is not flirting with Demi like he did last year. An inside source who did not want her name revealed said that Simon has really settled down now that he is going to be a daddy.
A show official even said that he has cut back his cigarette smoking from 38 cigarettes a day down to 33.
