NEW YORK CITY - Larry King and Regis Philbin have both said that even though most of the nation now considers Paula Deen a persona non grata they are willing to let her have her say on their top-rated talk show The Viagra View.
King, who is 79, said that he can personally name over 800 of his former guests who he has personally heard use the dreaded "N" word.
He pointed out that yes, about 773 were black individuals but the "N" word is the "N" word and if white folks can't get away with saying it then black folks should not be allowed to say it either.
Regis Philbin, 81, totally agreed with his co-host and added that hip hop artists sometimes use that word as many as two dozens times in just one song.
Both King and Philbin swear that they themselves have never used the "N" word although Regis did admit to twice using the "C" word but that was back in the 50's when the "C" word was acceptable.
Paula agreed to appear on The Viagra View because she knows that, unlike Matt "The Brat" Lauer, Regis and Larry will not try and trick her by trapping her in a corner the way the Today Show weasel did.
Ms. Deen has even agreed to cook up several brand new Southern dishes she has been working on now that she has had oodles and oodles of free time.
SIDENOTE: Also appearing on the same show with Paula Deen will be Bruno Tonioli of Dancing With The Stars and the hip hop band The Fa Shizzle Ma Nizzle Chumpz.
