ITV1 have stated in an official press release their new talent show, The Chas Factor, based on popular character Chas Dingle from the soap opera Chas Dale (formerly Emmerdale).
It has actually already aired, in a surprise twist. It is presented by Lucy Pargeter in character, as Chas Dingle. She searches for new talent to be on her show, Chas Dale, and a co-host for her new chat show, In the House With Chas.
ITV's new ratings system, Chas's Ratings have already reported the figures, which is a new record for the UK: 49.7 million!
There was a second show that just finished, and the ratings are just in; it had 43.2 million!
ITV have also announced more Chas based show's, the thirteen-part-drama, Chas Street, all about Chas's visit to Coronation Street, Chas News, the latest news all about everything Chas is involved with, Chas Morning TV, the new breakfast show, Chas, on after Chas Morning TV, and The Unforgettable...Chas, A documentary about Chas and her recent rise to fame.
