Disgraced chef Antony Worrall Thompson has raised further fears about his well-being after giving a rambling and erratic TV interview.
The 60-year-old star was recently cautioned for shoplifting cheese and wine from his local supermarket. Now, in a pre-recorded interview with chat show host Adrian Chiles, he has admitted he is undergoing counselling to try to find the cause of his behaviour, but throughout the interview he appeared confused and deluded.
At one point he claimed that he has always been a compulsive thief and his real name is Anthony Thompson - he stole the middle name Worrall from a customer when he first worked as a waitress in a cocktail bar.
He then went on to confuse himself with Andre Villas Boas the underfire chelsea manager - by saying he would not be selling Fernando Torres in the transfer window.
He then asked where Dec is, giving the impression he was one half of the successful TV presenters Ant & Dec.
The interview will be broadcast soon.
