Unbelievable violent scenes in Cairo were overshadowed by an eye-witness report having sworn that he or she saw Tommy Cooper running for his life amidst the chaos.
According to reports Tommy Cooper was seen being chased by lunatic supporters of who ever is fighting who whilst holding on to his Fez with impunity. Stones and missiles were flying around his head accompanied by Madness's, Nighboat to Cairo, a comical sight and sound.
Benny Hill was not available for comment either and Frankie Howard was seen entering a male poof, Egyptian style.
Tommy headed for the banks of the Suez with the marauding crowd chasing him obviously mistaking him for Golda Meir in drag and the last sight of him was when he jumped on a passing felucca with his middle finger stuck in the air shouting, "just like that"!
