Benetton's latest shock advertising campaign has caused quite a stir amongst the most powerful men on the planet, it depicts them all having a snog with each other.
President Obama is depicted as having a sloshy snog with his favourite PM, David Cameron, lovely pair. Nick Clegg threw a jealous tantrum when he saw the billboard so he had a snog with Angie Merkel instead (is she a man?). The Pope was depicted snogging gayly with a high-ranking Egyptian Iman (bringing both religions very close together literally). President Sarkozy was also photographed kissing Russian President Medvedev and his gorgeous wife was caught in the middle, lovely threesome (?).
Benetton did actually overstep the boundaries of all decency by depicting Hitler having a kiss and a cuddle with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu (very dodgy that one). And Josef Stalin sticking his evil tongue down Erich Hoenecker's (ex GDR chief dictator) throat. "Enough is enough," screamed the world advertising board of control and banned the Benetton advertising campaign from all global bill-boards!
Many Catholic priests seeing their leader having a snog with another man thanked God for answering their prayers!
