After important discoveries concerning the genetic code of the Cacao tree, unravelling its DNA, a new healthier and tastier version of the chocolate bar is on the way.
Trials conducted by Mexican authority Dr Pedro Pollymacho, reported in the 'Journal of Genetic Improvement' have shown a marked tendency for the new chocolate to act as a powerful aphrodisiac.
'Our trialists were divided into two groups.' said Pollymach'one had the new genetically modified chocolate, the other the chocolate we have been eating for years. The first group found they attracted people of the opposite sex far more than the second group. There is clearly a sexual element here that might well become an attraction to people.'
Dr Pollymacho's prediction was something of an understatement. Girls always hoping the sexual allure of scent would help to attract men are already putting in orders for sexmod (sexually modified) chocolate as it is being called.
Government agencies are worried about the implications of these discoveries. 'Sexmod chocolate will have to be put out of the reach of children' said a Health Minister 'I can see a dangerous escalation of attractiveness which could undermine society as we know it.'
